August already!
3rd week of my final semester. Another 10, and it's the end of my affair with RMIT. I thought I am going to be over-pressured. Maybe later, perhaps when its getting closer to examinations. But now? I am more than happy to go to class. Promised (and keeping it) not to skip any class for any reason. The truth is, when every class I attended finished, it's telling me, I am a step closer to graduate. Every Saturday reminds me I am a week closer. That's what motivating me, cheering me despite this is the hardest and most heavy workload semester I've ever had.
Many asked.
Are you applying P.R of Australia?
I am not applying for a P.R.
Staying to work or to pick up another course?
Not looking for a job here and if study, it would be somewhere outside the Oz.
What are you going to do next?
I am going to take a half year break, spend times with family, and perhaps take a loan from Papa & Mama Chang to travel before entering workforce.
Are you going to marry Roy?
I am not marrying Roy, (he hasn't propose and) we are unemployed, financially insufficient to tie the knot and having a family.

Its not a beginning, Its a step closer to the end
Good day darlings =]
Melbourne weather can be described with only two words - cold and wet. Temperature dropping each day. Raining almost everyday. It would be perfect weather to hop on a coach to Falls Creek for ski or snowboarding. However, I couldn't afford to miss any class. Timetable for the semester is terrible. Although I got a day off and only one class for the remaining 4, they are all equally important, and unmissable. So, it could be only one ski trip for this year. But Roy and I planned on Japan ski and coming back next year plainly for ski trips. Hopefully we are financially supported!
First week of my final semester. Honestly, I am feeling happier than ever. Maybe its the "final semester" effect, that I am getting closer to graduate. Although there are uncertainties on whether I am going to pass my final 3 subjects, which requires a lot of readings, research and creativity. I know right, how is it possible for economic and finance to be creative, but that's what i am going to learn, and trust me I sort of getting the sketch of the real picture already. First week and I am worried of my results already. Like, what if I failed? And I need to repeat another semester, postponing my graduation? Those thoughts pop in now and then. Good pressure though, I am going to put all in. I have strong determination not to let down my family and friends. So, everything feels great!

Sunday
Sneaker Sunday ; Foot Spa at Home
Morning!
I've been doing Sneaker Sunday now and then. Unlike Violet and Valarie, they did it every week. From sneakers decoration to DIY pedicure. My Sneaker Sunday post is kind of raw compare to them, but I still want to share!
Last week, I bought Beauty Care Co. Foot Spa from Kmart. It cost $18. Its definitely a good price. Have been checking out at other shops and they all at price range between $40-$80. So when I heard Violet bought this for $18, I know I am going to get one too!
I set my foot spa at the living room, with my orange towel underneath.
Then, pour in warm water until water level reaches the "maximum level" line at the side.
Soak your tired foot in it! There are 3 function - 1. Massage 2. Warm/Whirl 3. Warm/Whirl/Massage. Whirl is the bubbling.
All function work! Oh wait, I am not sure about "warm" because I use warm water anyway. But Warm/Whirl makes the water feels a bit chilly. How I wish they have Massage/Whirl. While at home doing foot spa, there are several things you can do:
1. Read magazines - Cosmo, Vivi, Women's Health
2. Watch TV shows or soaps - Judge Judy, Bondi Vet, Nip/Tucks
3. BBM/Whatsapp or talk to your friends and family via phone
4. Put on a mask and shut your eyes. Relax your eyes, body and foot for 20minutes are heavenly rewarding!
I love it! My foot feels so good. After soaking my feet into the foot spa, I towel dry them and apply just the normal Vaseline lotion. I have smooth foot now!

Thursday
i watched toy story 3 and i cried
good day darlings!
yesterday, roy had 2-hour class early at 8am, and the next one at 4pm. six hours break in between, so i tagged along and we hung out at chadstone shopping mall. was going to buy a pair of sneakers i spotted few days ago at footlocker. however, i walked away because the manager was being rude and impatient when i asked for price cut on the last pair which has dirt on it. later on, i bought 3 pairs of cheap sneakers from kmart, an average of $10 per pair. the sneakers i was going to buy at footlocker is $140, so now i saved $110 and those 3 pairs are cute too. well done!
after some shopping which i didn't spend more than $80 (budgeting for ski trip and year end graduation trip around the country), we bought movie tickets to kill time. the showings are running low, a sign of cutting off soon, so we picked toy story 3. i absolutely love it. can't believe i didn't watch it when i'm home, my sister would love it too. and as expected, i shed tears over the ending. goodbyes are always heartbreaking. pixar once again did an incredible job =] kudos!
dressed up a little for brunch with an old friend, miss v. she's leaving next saturday which i have a date with the nuffies, especially looking forward to meet violet, she's like the most friendly blogger i've ever "meet" so far. anyway, roy and i had brunch with miss v at west lake. yumcha and dim sum. again, i forget to bring my camera, and our conversation keep going till i totally don't remember to snap a picture via my blackberry. what a pity. guess we'll have to do it next time, in hong kong.

Wednesday
back to the tropical
happy holiday to myself C:
flew back to the tropical the night of my last paper. mas speed in air and we were landed in the klia 30 minutes earlier. to avoid the taking-forever-to-come-out at baggage claim, boyfriend and i both carried our hand luggage on board. learned from up in the air, travel light, save time. we do saved a lot. then, driver of genting maxim pick us up and shoot up to the highland right away.
the weather is hot. even at genting. coming back from winter doesn't feel good at all. mama chang book us into spa and massage treatment. had my balinese massage after long flights and stress from exams, it feels awesome! hang a bit with siblings before taking a power nap prior dinner time. we watched world cup together in the room - australia v ghana. the socceroos played well against ghana. draw is still good even though winning would be far better. later that night, miss koe and mr teh drove up for their adult entertainment. we'd met up for some starbucks, but its a rushing one. dead tired.
22nd is andy's birthday. simple celebration. had nando's for lunch. some pool time at the arcade. then, golden screen cinema for jaden smith and jackie chan's the karate kid. not bad. didn't feel like doing a review thou. but jaden is very much like his father.

Tuesday
short break for some events
world cup fever, baby!
of course i have been following a few. its hard to keep up with them due to the time difference. still is my exam period, so the only one i've fully followed is australia v germany. lukas podolski!
monday was brian's birthday. we went chinabar signature for asian buffet. honestly, its a waste to bring me to any buffet except takumi. especially if buffet involve chinese food. normally, taste just like those cheap take-outs. i couldn't stand bad chinese food ever since i've been feeding by papa chang's restaurant back home - grand imperial. would rather go for other cuisine. the place is just a grand version of chinabar in city with free flow, japanese section, desserts and oysters. i approximately had 20dollar worth of food for 55dollar. you do the maths.
anyway, happy 25th birthday brian! you've live 1/4 of your life!!!
few more day to my last paper, its on friday. after that, i'm planning on a french mani & spa pedi before boarding. should start packing today, or tomorrow. but i am running out of time on tax law. although its open book test, but its law! all the legislation and cases are eating up my brain cells. god i need chicken essence (=

Thursday
a break from busyness
what a hectic week. *out of breath*
first paper was unexpected; but i did my best. tomorrow is the second one and still feeling unprepared even though i've been reading and understanding those graphs and models for the past 10hours. perhaps what i need now is to take a short break from those papers i've written and scribbled all over. expecting a long night tonight. maybe without hitting the sack. hopefully, not.
truly thank bb for keeping me sane. i like the short minutes of prattle with girlfriends. currently, we are sharing the feeling of offensiveness from some third party. be it a stranger and obviously, not directing to myself. i am still angry and feel offended in some sense. she is totally a spokeswoman of materialistic, contemptuous, dogmatic, disrespect and insane. luckily, i have no such person in my life (: at least not that i am aware of.
papa & mama chang gave order to me and boyfriend to take a tonic. mama chang said she'll pay the bill. so i have sponsored brandy's chicken essence! its my first time. surprisingly, i am not defying the taste. pretty close to the fresh one papa chang used to make for me whenever i am home. i like it. it taste even better after i put the bottle in boiling water to heat up. but 25dollar for half dozen, means 4.20dollar per bottle, pretty expensive if compare to 4 can of redbulls for 7dollar.
going back to study. not only wish me luck! pray for me, thank you.

clock is ticking
finally, last week of classes.13days to my first paper. honestly, i am not ready. but i will be. its my final year, and i am definitely going to graduate by december. this, i promise you.
something i would love to share.
my caramel macchiato (=
have been "camping" at starbuck's cafe recently. especially on wednesday morning. 2 hours before my 11.30am class. although some may think its a noisy place to be, but you have no idea how noisy and disturbing can some students in rmit building 108's library be. the noise in starbuck's is nothing but some beautiful music if were to compare. imagine you're concentrating, but there are phone calls, chit-chatting loudly, fast food, chicken rice and curry take away. honestly, what are those people thinking? its library! not a food court.
ready for workout session!
not frequent as i used to. with wii fit at home, you tend to cut back gym visits. but i still do treadmill and bike. 3 times a week. like the after workout feeling, sweaty and smelly sounds active and good. perhaps i should do more before returning. definitely going to put on weight when i am home. but i don't mind at all. with good food around, the only thing you should do is enjoy, not counting calories.
bought this from art center market at yarra river. its handmade!
saw this bag on mother's day. i like it. it has the appearance and usability. compare it to lv, channel, gucci, maybe that's more... me. remember, you are the one wearing the brand, don't let the brand wear you. branded don't always represent class and status. i couldn't agree more. especially seeing so many young adults already holding them. earn it yourself, pay with your money. and allowance from parents ain't your money.
the famous flinders street station.
there are two station in melbourne. the southern cross and flinders street. i like this more. although southern cross is modern, new and clean. i like old buildings. it makes me wonder stories behind.
little collin :)
i dream having an apartment here. just like those little apartment with a tiny balcony. its so, english. lanes are filled with cafes and restaurants. no chinese's take away. no kebab shop. all you heard are expresso, latte, focaccia, brochette...
my clock almost tick to 1am. and i am still awake, wrapping up this post. it has passed my sleeping hour, normally before 11pm, but i know i shouldn't let revisions affect my living. once in a while is acceptable. and i'll be switching back to my normal bed time.
good night folks (: sweet dreams.

Saturday
vampires addiction
good day folks (=
took a short break from the papers and blog hop. normally saturday's blog hopping are for hollywood gossip blogs, fashion blogs and food blogs. i don't read everything. just a couple of the interesting one.
sex and the city 2 is next week. yet, here i am already all excited for nothing but another twilight saga:eclipse. well, i am no team edward nor team jacob. and of course i don't go madly in love with either of them, hence no screaming when they took off their tops back in new moon like those high schoolkids that i got stuck with in the theater. however, i adore alice cullen aka ashley greene.
#1 new poster for the movie. saw it from perezhilton. its the cullen clan. it would be better if i am able to watch it in my home country's cinema - golden screen cinema, with sister and caramel popcorn combo.
i read all 4 book. they are good. hence, i watch the movies too. eclipse is suppose to be good. but i am dying to watch the final one - breaking dawn. lucky me, i am not under the vampire-spell. few of my friends got the disease. addicted to the vampires, hooked up with the twilight saga, true blood, vampire diaries. maybe i am going to watch vampire diaries when the series hit jb-hifi. till then, i am better off. don't like watching anything beside youtube's funny videos with my 14"1.
temperature has been dropping. farewell autumn and perhaps a homecoming for winter. its hard to leave without a scarf. throwing on my already old-looking but warming boots. i even wore home socks to keep my feet out of the cold. however, we can't keep the lazy bugs kicking in. i already feel lazy even under pressure that finals are in 2 weeks. guess its time for some good planning and determination. i'll get through this. lazy ain't suppose to be in the planner when finals are around the corner.

getting closer to the final
good day folks (=
have been uber busy. hence not a single post throughout the week.
second 20% class test on tuesday. later that evening, submitted business analysis's 10% interview report. the rest of the week is filled with preparation for sunday's 30% taxation law test. exhausted.
i've worked hard for both test. however, the result disappoint me. although its still a pass, but i expect something higher. what make it worst is, i don't know what have i done wrong. no after review from both. shouldn't blame no one. the result shows. i just need to work harder for finals.
3 weeks to exam. 4 weeks to be with my family again. this time, a big reunion - papa, mama, me, gor gor and mei mei. we haven't snap a big family picture for 2 years. looking forward to be together again. prior the enjoyment, am going to work extremely hard for the upcoming exams. wish me luck pals.

i love mum
greetings earthlings (=
happy mothers day!
another year gone by. and i am not back home to show my appreciation, again. feel bad about it. but there is nothing i can do. the least is to make a call and greet mom. hopefully she had a wonderful mothers day =) and pray hard sister stay peace with her. at least for today.
the boyf and myself woke up early as usual. its sort of our thing or the couple's tradition you may say. breakfast then sunday market. this week, we decided to go the art sunday market along yarra river.
# dim sum. the only thing won my vote over grand imperial's is their beef ball. super yum.
instead of the usual english breakfast or an americana, we went west lake for dim sum fix. god i miss grand imperial's dim sum. nothing can beat that. its mad delicious that i doubt anyone could forget.
# cute little thing, isn't it?
then, spend an hour at the market. found a handmade bag that i adore. except that its pricey. perhaps i'll check out st. kilda's and camberwell's sunday market before paying the lady. but i kept thinking about it already.
henry suggested to go melbourne aquarium. i haven't been there. so the three of us walked to the aquarium. so much walking for sunday. luckily i am on sneakers and not the devil heels. its pretty ordinary. the usual sharks, fishes, jellies, stingrays. so all attention goes to the antarctica king and gentoo penguins. much bigger than our mini penguins from port philip bay. and they poop when they swim! ewww... the boyf was laughing at it and i am disgusted by it. still, i prefer perth's or sydney's aquarium.
don't forget to call your mum.

Wednesday
why is there always a question left unanswered
cosmopolitan australia. my monthly purchase. we have sarah jessica parker as the cover girl for june issue. expected as sex and the city 2 will be showing nationwide on 2 june. haven't get pre-purchase my ticket as i am still thinking to watch it with my limited few girlfriends or the boyfriend. he actually like it as much as i do.
love the new cosmo. they have cosmo world an cosmo health in it. which means an international style guide and the body and health mag all in one copy.
featured article with the title "100 relationship questions... answered in 20 words". really? can you really wrap up your dating and relationship dilemmas? its hard to put them in words in the first place. anyhow, according to the "experts", maybe i am just over-analyzing. but then again, those answers aren't always matches with yours. so, i guess its just a general guides. not going through 100 q&a yet. it hurts to see so many "questions".

Sunday
my very first sneakers sunday
happy sunday!
its been a few weeks, i think its the third week for sneakers sunday. violet and valerie have been doing it for the past 2 weeks. and i thought maybe i should join the fun! so what's sneakers sunday about? honestly, i don't know what to do. i mean, almost everyday are my sneakers day. hate to say that but i am not very good at handling heels. some foot condition. but i do wear them for special occasion. and totally understand how it feels to walk in those high inches for hours.
#1 my valentine's day sneakers from the boyfriend.
#2 its me, and my sneakers with the state library.
i don't know what should i write about my sneakers sunday. but i guess a couple of pictures would be a good start.
anyway, let me get back to ghost whisperer season 4. gonna try very hard to finish it before tuesday. heading back to drop dead hard work to score for all mid-test and upcoming finals. till then, wait for my movie review, soon, i promise.

its been a few weeks, i think its the third week for sneakers sunday. violet and valerie have been doing it for the past 2 weeks. and i thought maybe i should join the fun! so what's sneakers sunday about? honestly, i don't know what to do. i mean, almost everyday are my sneakers day. hate to say that but i am not very good at handling heels. some foot condition. but i do wear them for special occasion. and totally understand how it feels to walk in those high inches for hours.

papa mama in town
finally able to squeeze my schedule to be seated and blog about the last few days. pretty unproductive. academic wise. before seeing dad and mom, i was too excited. were day dreaming in class. no revision done. not even my reports. then, 36hours to spend with my parents are amazing.
#1 dad and me were playing with the "magic mirror" outside the pancake parlour. mom think its ugly and very uncomfortable about it. but dad loves it! look how he smiled. that's one hell happy face.
first evening, brought them to a vietnamese restaurant for some light dinner. then we head back to my apartment. to show them its clean and very comfortable. later that night, we went to crown casino. must be my 4th or 5th time here since 2007. ha. not a big fan of expensive restaurants and the gambling part.
#2 its been two years since their last visit. i do cherished our moments here. people says i have both papa and mama in me.
we'd spend the whole thursday together. having a wonderful breakfast at couple cinos, kensington. mama loves it. she has been talking about how soft and yummy was the bread and latte for the rest of the day then met up with uncle bill and stacy chanel handbags for some catch ups on what am i going to do with my apartment when i leave the country and perhaps the getting a p.r before that.
later, the boyfriend drove us all to chadstone. parents haven't been there. happily shop for ourselves. mama bought a pink yoga mat, papa bought a yoga shorts and one for uncle sam, our yoga instructor back home, a very hunky jacket papa bought for the boyfriend and i got myself a classy coat. super love it.
#3 i look pretty cute and... funny.
its been great spending time with papa and mama. can't wait to see them again in december, for my graduation baby! and it would be great if sister is here too!

not a sneaker sunday
i planned to join the fun and do a sneaker sunday post like violet and valerie. but the uploading thing stopped after a few at my food and others are stuck (my sneakers and new necklace i bought from the sunday market)! just not dragging on my sunday post anymore, i've decided to do it the upcoming week.

parents arrived safely at auckland airport with terrified experience on board. i can practically feel mama's shaky voice through the phone. she must be scared. according to her verbal description, they were in terrible turbulence while flying from sydney to auckland, and that their blanket flew up the air. sure she'd cried and thought they are going to crash just like those plane she saw on air crash investigation. i did tear when listening to her experience. i know i can be a real baby girl. but that's me. thank god they are safe!
scratch the worried. i am going to give them a big koala hug when i see them, which is upcoming wednesday! chanel handbags excited.
sunday means st. kilda's art market. we have a gloomy sunday in melbourne! but it never stop me. i like st. chanel handbags kilda despite the crowd and ordinary. my usual is random pick a cafe for brunch, then walk the market.
#1 and this time, we choose the one right beside shakespeare street
#2 its call - the vineyard
#3 this place is usually full with people. especially the locals. but we were here before 11am. guess its too early for everyone.
#4 my hot chocolate with marshmallow to warm me up in such chilly sunday morning
#5 boyfriend ordered the egg benedict. honestly, its delicious. he said its better than las chicas' because its simple and original. you feel the egg yolks flowing down the bacon while having a bite. nothing complex. simplicity. las chicas' sauce is mind-blowing, but it took over the taste of the food.
#6 my order, tofu scramble. absolutely delicious. tofu mixed perfectly with eggs, tomato slices, onions, baby spinach and a hint of fetta cheese.

Saturday
chillaxing is the best remedy
i love my saturday. besides cooking stir fry vegetables *celery, 3colour capsicum, onion and mushrooms* for lunch. i practically done nothing but watching glee season 1 on my ps2. munch on biscuits and banana. drank only low-fat milk and pineapple vinegar. relaxing, and refreshing.
keeping the baby or the-a-word. legalized or not. humanity or cruelty. whichever decision picked, it still come with a cost. i've learn that an 11yo mexican were allegedly raped by her stepfather. that jerk impregnated her, leaving her pregnant for more than 4months now. woman's groups talked her into the-a-word, instead, she says she is keeping the baby and is going to name her alejandra. sure, the-a-word is illegal. but it is exempt if its from rape or mother's life is at risk and only within the first 3 month of pregnancy. *news*
i don't know. the-a-word sounds sensible and the right thing to do if you consider the future of the victim. i mean, lets be frank, how can an 11yo raise a baby? and how would you like to explain to your baby that she is from a rape case. no offence but i think even though the-a-word sounds inhumane, but you have to admit, sometimes, we have to make a hard call.

Thursday
its my first and hopefully not last
i am terrifically excited !!!
oh well, i probably should explain a bit ;^) while i'm munching on weight watchers' microwaveable pumpkin soup and bbm-ing with my girlfriend from wales, a message dropped in my inbox. i got this from nuffnang!
i know i sound very desperate and overreacted. but this is my first time! i am a virgin at nuffnang's. so, let me be! anyway, it says that if campaign is not performing well during the duration it will be stopped. oh uh! its not like i have many readers.
i've heard of yesstyle. but just not sure if its the same one. so i google it. and i think it is! yesstyle is an asian fashion online boutique. sort of specialized in korean, japanese and taiwanese fashion. ooohh~ and they are currently having the korean fashion fair which all korean brands discount up to 80% until 2 may. damn it! chanel handbags why this happen when i am broke. currently on my may budget already. and i am saving for my july ski trips! bad, bad timing.
these days, melbourne feels like malaysia. its autumn but the heat is burning. just like today, its 30 degrees! windless. and just last week, i told my parents to pack something warm. oh! they are departing tomorrow and will be coming to melbourne after few days in new zealand. i miss having them here. its been two years since their last visit.
okay. i should go back to my stack of papers for ime. bloody test in less than 24 hours! have been distracted by that email from nuffnang. anyway, nothing big, but its a good news =) at least to me, it is! ha!
p.s congratulation to robbie baby for nailing so you think you can dance! you are officially the best dancer and most love one by australia =3

Goodbye, Tasmania
Good day folks ;^)
I had a wonderful journey down under. Tasmania is a beautiful place. Blue sky, white clouds and greenish fields as our companion.8 days 7 nights from Launceston to Hobart, we stopped by Devonport, Sheffield, George Town, St. Helen's, Swansea, Port Author, Richmond. These places gave good memories. Perhaps its the people you travel with. Big love to Big Bo, Billy, Tracy and of course my boyfriend, R.
5 people, 6 camera, we have over 6 thousand of photos. It took me hours to pick out which to be uploaded. I would put all up if I could. But too many is annoying. So I put them into 4 album and uploaded onto Facebook. So, be sure to check it out! I assure you they are pretty.
Have to stop writing here. Will be doing a blog post of my 8 days in Tasmania. So, stay tuned!

Friday
its not much but it make a difference
Happy Good Friday everyone! Big love to y'all >3<
Have been watching the Good Friday Appeal cause show on Channel 7. They film and interview children who benefits from the donation. Those kids spread positive energy despite having to visit the hospital often due to diseases. Many of them are rare disease, some aren't suppose to happen to children at very young age. They inspired me. Nurses and doctors gives me hope. Random, I know, but that's how I feel. Even thought of not doing master and get a certificate or a degree in child care or nursing. Ahhh! louis vuitton handbags Calm down Miss Chang. *calmed* Anyway, big claps to them! And congratulation to the Good Friday Appeal for getting almost 6 million of donation (more to go)! I donated too. Although its just a small amount but I am very proud of myself already.
Do people still get fooled on April Fool ? The answer is YES. For example, my clumsy blur sister - Miss Chelsea Chang. I send a text message telling her I am going to be deported by the Australia Immigration, and that I don't know how to tell mom. She replied "OMG, how come? What are you going to do?" I laugh so hard. GOTCHA! But its different to other people. I realize my friends are so smart. Miss Koe understand me too well to believe the deportation and hesitation to tell my parents. And Mr Teh replied "That's great! So you can attend my wedding in July =D". I laugh so loud at Old Town Kopitiam Mamak when I saw the message. Grab some attention too! What a great way to start April =]
Still in the process of finishing my business analysis assignment. After a long consideration and research done on which subject to be target on, I finally started to draft out the piece. Due next Friday. And I am flying off to Tasmania tomorrow. Not panic at all because I will be bringing my laptop with me! So I'll be able to do my revision for my mid-term test, which is the week after next, and submit the assignment while traveling.

Bikini Blowout Benedict (BBB) at Las Chicas. Its mad delicious! Avocado, bacon, poached eggs and their special cheesy sauce (don't remember the name). Thanks to Miss Ng for the recommendation.

Met Brussel at Las Chicas. She is 17 year old already. So steady and obedient. Friendly to us. I really want a dog. Promise to take good care of her and love her like my biological daughter.

Mc Donald's Family Deal ! Finally tried it. We ordered the $35 meal which includes Grand Angus x 1, Mighty Angus x 1, Quarter Pounder x 2, 6 pieces of nuggets, medium fries x 4 and 4 x drinks. Honestly, I felt so guilty! Its delicious, really, but you have to admit the fatness of fast food. So, I promise myself, no more fast food for at least 3 weeks!
